Ballad Health seeking nurses to participate in our Nurse Ambassador outreach program

As part of our effort to strengthen our nursing workforce, Ballad Health’s Nurse Ambassador Program gives current nurses the opportunity to return to their alma mater and talk to students about the opportunities and benefits of working for Ballad Health. Nurses who join the program can earn a $1,500 bonus for each new nurse they recruit! They can also earn PACE points for serving as a Nurse Ambassador and completing visits. We are excited to share important updates about the newly announced Ballad Health Center for Early Learning in Greeneville, to be located on Tusculum University’s campus. Based on important feedback from our team members, the Greeneville center will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. with extended pickup until 7:30 p.m. for team members who prearrange that option. These hours will be standard in all Ballad Health childcare centers. The expansion of hours at the Greeneville location aims to provide greater flexibility and support to our team members. Important Infor CloudSuite update regarding inadvertent email to some team members

As part of our upgrade to the Infor CloudSuite system, an administrative change made on Tuesday, July 11, in the new CloudSuite software triggered an automated email to many of our team members, informing them that changes had been made to their banking information as entered in Employee Space. Please disregard that email. NO CHANGES have been made to any team member’s individual banking account. The email, which was generated from payroll@balladhealth.org, is not a phishing email and it poses no risk, but it was inadvertently sent to some team members. Saturday, July 1, marks the beginning of the new fiscal year and the effective date of the Ballad Health benefits you selected during open enrollment. The premium deduction for benefits will occur on the July 7 paycheck. Here’s a rundown of the key benefits being offered: MEDICAL – The Ballad Health Choice, Ballad Health Bronze and Ballad Health PPO plan deductibles and out-of-pocket accumulators start over on July 1. The medical plan provider directories are available online at bcbst.com/balladhealth. Click on the resources tab to review the provider listings. Ballad Health team members can get a substantial discount on entry fees for the annual Crazy 8s 8K Run and other Crazy 8s events coming up on Saturday, July 15, in Kingsport.
