Our Balladeers have been enjoying a summer of baseball!

Benefits & HR

The Balladeer Children’s Program had a busy month of baseball in June!

The program, a free benefit for Ballad Health employees, is intended to strengthen family bonds and relationships among our Ballad Health family. Activities include visits to area attractions, picnics in local parks, holiday celebrations and activities, sports activities, discount tickets for attractions or events, treats, take-home projects and much more!

June events

The program hosted members for baseball games at several of the local Appalachian League stadiums – Kingsport Axmen, Johnson City Doughboys, Greeneville Flyboys, Elizabethton River Riders and Bristol State Liners.

More than 200 kids attended these games, along with their families, bringing the overall total of Balladeer participants to an estimated 500 to 600 people. The kids got free tickets plus a meal voucher, and they were able to go on the field during the national anthem and stand with the players. They also got to participate in games on the field in between innings.
