Childcare update: Waitlist info, new hours for Center for Early Learning in Greeneville

Benefits & HR

We are excited to share important updates about the newly announced Ballad Health Center for Early Learning in Greeneville, to be located on Tusculum University’s campus.

Based on important feedback from our team members, the Greeneville center will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. with extended pickup until 7:30 p.m. for team members who prearrange that option. These hours will be standard in all Ballad Health childcare centers.

The expansion of hours at the Greeneville location aims to provide greater flexibility and support to our team members. We value your commitment, and having reliable childcare is crucial for maintaining a stable and thriving workforce.

If you are interested in securing a spot at the Greeneville childcare center, we invite you to join the waitlist by emailing Amy Doran, Ballad Health corporate director of early childhood care and education, at amy.doran@balladhealth.org. By joining the waitlist, you will be among the first to be notified when the registration process begins. We highly encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity, as space might be limited.

The Ballad Health Center for Early Learning in Greeneville, like all of our childcare centers, is designed to promote the holistic development of children through play-based learning, which nurtures their early literacy, numeracy and science and social-emotional skills. By providing a strong foundation, these centers prepare children for a successful transition to kindergarten and future academic achievement.

This expansion in Greeneville is a testament to Ballad Health’s ongoing dedication to be a model for rural healthcare and an employer of choice.

As we strive for excellence in childcare services, we encourage you to stay connected and informed about all the latest updates. More information about the Ballad Health Niswonger Children’s Network and our childcare centers is available at www.balladhealth.org/children.

Thank you for your continued support and feedback. More information about our plans to open up to 11 new centers for early learning across the Appalachian Highlands can be found here.
