Our Balladeer Children’s Program, which began in March, is going full swing and has hosted several great events. This program, a free benefit for Ballad Health employees, is intended to strengthen family bonds and relationships among our Ballad Health family. Activities include visits to area attractions, picnics in local parks, holiday celebrations and activities, sports activities, discount tickets for attractions or events, treats, take-home projects and much more! This Friday, July 1, marks the beginning of the new fiscal year and the effective date of the Ballad Health benefits you selected during open enrollment. The premium deduction for benefits will occur on the July 8, 2022, paycheck. Here’s a rundown of the key benefits being offered: MEDICAL – The Ballad Health Choice, Ballad Health Bronze and Ballad Health PPO (if applicable) plan deductibles and out-of-pocket accumulators start over on July 1. The medical plan provider directories are available online at bcbst.com/balladhealth. Click on the resources tab to review the provider listings. You can also review the provider directories on the Ballad Health intranet by clicking on Ballad Health Benefits and Network providers. Deductible, out-of-pocket and claim information can be viewed online by creating a member account on the BlueCross BlueShield website (bcbst.com). Balladeer Children’s Program planning family nights at Appalachian League baseball games

The Balladeer Children’s Program is planning family nights at several Appalachian League baseball games in June. The program will provide tickets for each child to get into the baseball game and get a free meal at the concession stand. They’ll have a special seating section at each ballpark where our Balladeer families can sit, connect with other Balladeer families and enjoy the game. In between innings, the program will offer a chance for Balladeers to participate in some fun, on-field games. NOTE: You MUST be enrolled in the Balladeer Children’s Program in order to participate in the program’s events.
