Ballad Health is transitioning from the Infor Lawson system to the new Infor CloudSuite system. This is the platform we use for a wide range of internal tasks, including access to pay history, tax documents, benefits, direct deposit, expense and mileage reimbursement forms, supply orders and much more.
Go-live is taking place this month. We will experience a downtime when some functions are not available.

For most team members, once the system is back up, the changes from Lawson to Infor CloudSuite will be noticeable but minor, and it should make many of your basic tasks easier to complete. Managers will see bigger changes than others in how they do many of their tasks, but the system will be much easier for them to use going forward and will be a significant improvement over the current system for everyone.
Three key things to note
- There are important steps some team members will need to take in preparation for downtime, so please review the training resources being provided, and if you have questions, talk to your manager.
- All managers are required to attend one manager space training session either virtually or in person. Please log into HealthStream and register for either an in-person or virtual training session. (See training session schedule at the bottom of this article.)
- For all team members, if you want to access Infor CloudSuite on a personal device such as your phone or personal computer, you must download the multi-factor authenticator (MFA) app to your phone. More details about this are available on our Infor CloudSuite resource page with a link provided below.

Key facts about Infor CloudSuite
- CloudSuite will modernize, automate and streamline many of the functions we use today. This change supports our efforts to ensure we are using best practices in technology.
- The new Infor CloudSuite site will look slightly different upon launch, with a more intuitive, easy-to-use interface and more tools at your disposal.
- Some teams – such as HR, payroll, finance and supply chain – will also notice changes behind the scenes on some of the systems they use to perform their jobs. (The changes for finance are minor and internal, and will require no action on the part of most team members.) These teams will have specific training sessions for their areas, such as ordering supplies and working in manager space.
While this change will involve a transition period for team members as everyone grows familiar with the new CloudSuite layout, it will be a significant improvement over the current system, and we’re confident you will like the changes this upgrade offers.
