Ballad Health is hard at work creating more access to childcare for both our team members and the community. We have three childcare centers already in operation and are planning to open more, with details to come as we get them worked out.
In the meantime, our childcare department is taking names of those who are interested in childcare, plus some appropriate details. To get this information, we’ve created an online form to fill out so we can create an “interest list” among our team members. See the link below to access the form:
The form asks for basic information like name and age of the children you’d like to get into our childcare system, some contact information, and an idea on when you foresee needing childcare, among other things.
Ballad Health’s childcare centers are a benefit to team members. There is a fee for providing care.
Our current childcare centers care for kids ages 6 weeks up to 5 years and are at the following locations:
- Hospitots, 1719 W. Market St., Johnson City 37604 (near Johnson City Medical Center)
- The Children’s Center, 404 Bemberg Road, Elizabethton 37643 (next to Sycamore Shoals Hospital)
- Child Development Center, 281 Steeles Road, Bristol 37620, a partnership with YWCA in Bristol (located behind Bristol Regional Medical Center)
