The current health insurance contract between Ballad Health and BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee expires Dec. 31, 2023. Ballad Health and BlueCross BlueShield have a very positive relationship, and we are in active negotiations to extend our contract for another three years.
We are highly confident we will reach agreement in the next 30 days. This is the normal cycle for negotiation of contracts.
