‘For one. For all.’ Our Team Member Giving Campaign starts Oct. 2

Foundation

You asked for an earlier campaign date, and we listened! Ballad Health’s 2023 Team Member Giving Campaign opens one week from today on Monday, Oct. 2, providing team members an opportunity to give to their choice of many important funds and programs that benefit our communities, patients, families and team members.

The Ballad Health Foundation campaign will run until Tuesday, Oct. 31. Tapping into the spirit of teamwork and giving for which Ballad Health is known, this year’s theme is “For one. For all.”

In an effort to make things more convenient for our team members, we are rolling over all current ongoing payroll deduction gifts!

NOTE: If you made a one-time, lump sum donation last year, that will NOT be automatically rolled over and you’ll need to renew that.

Reminders for this year’s campaign

  • Last year, we started with a clean slate where every team member had to re-enroll their gift. That is NOT the case this year. If you committed an ongoing payroll deduction gift during the 2022 campaign, your gift will automatically roll over and continue indefinitely until modified or cancelled. However, we always encourage team members to increase their giving every year.
  • If you gave last year and choose to increase your giving amount this year, your current giving amount will be paid out in the first paycheck of January 2024 (Jan. 5) and your new contribution amount will take effect on the second paycheck of January 2024 (Jan. 19).

Example: If you signed up to give $20 per pay period during the 2022 campaign but go into your unique link and increase your contribution amount to $30 per pay period, $20 will continue to come out of your paycheck from now until Jan. 5, 2024. On the second paycheck of the new year, Jan. 19, 2024, your new contribution of $30 will take effect.

How to give

You will receive an email from Ballad Health Foundation on Monday Oct. 2, containing a giving link that will allow you to make a payroll deduction, cash, check or credit card donation.

If you committed to giving an ongoing payroll deduction during last year’s campaign, you do NOT need to do anything with your unique link unless you wish to increase, decrease or cancel your current giving.

If you made a one-time, lump sum donation last year, that won’t automatically roll over to this year. If you wish to make a similar donation this year, you can designate that when you receive your personalized link to the campaign via email.

How does my donation help?

This campaign funds a range of programs and services, including the Niswonger Children’s Network, Patient Assistance, Team Member Emergency Fund, United Way agencies and more. Every year, the money our team members give makes a real difference in the lives of people in our community – and you can choose what you want your donation to support.

Thank you for your support of our Team Member Giving Campaign and for your continued commitment to Ballad Health!
