Get out the vote! Primary state elections and general county elections for Tennessee voters will be held on Thursday, Aug. 4.
State primary elections are being held for:
- Governor
- U.S. House of Representatives
- Tennessee Senate (odd-numbered districts)
- Tennessee House of Representatives
General county offices being contested include:
- County mayor
- County clerk
- County commissioners
- Register of Deeds
- Trustee
- Circuit Court clerk
- Sheriff
- Chancellor
- Circuit Court judge
- Criminal Court judge
- District attorney general
- General Sessions Court judge
- Public defender
- County School Board (District 1 for three seats, District 3 for three seats)
