About the award
Servant’s Heart Awards are given out in four categories: frontline team members, leadership, physicians and volunteers. This is a great way for us to celebrate the outstanding work being done every day by team members within our health system.
A Servant’s Heart Award winner is someone who models the Ballad Health values on a daily basis and who always finds ways to help others, from co-workers to patients to visitors. Does this person give freely of their time outside of work through church, civic groups, schools or a local nonprofit? Do they routinely go the extra mile to help others? Do they inspire others to be great servants? Do they have the heart of a servant? Give us examples of what they do to serve others and why they deserve this honor.
How to nominate someone
You can nominate your fellow Ballad Health team members, including physicians and volunteers, for this honor by visiting this link and describing why your nominee is deserving.
The submission doesn’t have to be long but should give a good description of what this team member does to lift up others. List specifics of how they model the Ballad Health values, go the extra mile and inspires others. Multiple letters of nomination for the same team member are not required, but if several people write letters about a particular team member, it helps paint a complete picture of how that person is impacting people around them.
Our winners will be announced next year and honored by Ballad Health. Plus they’ll be featured on our BalladHealth.org website and in Ballad Health News.
