We concluded our Ballad Teams cash giveaway on Wednesday, with Tyler Adams, a security officer at Franklin Woods Community Hospital, claiming our grand prize of $2,500!
Tyler’s name was drawn from the list of all Ballad Health team members, our Prize Patrol caught up to him at Franklin Woods and surprised him, and he was able to show us he had Ballad Teams, our new team member mobile app, downloaded to his phone.
The giveaway, which began on June 9, was a promotion to encourage team members to download Ballad Teams. We gave away $100 each day to a lucky team member, and each Friday we handed out $1,000. Then, for today’s grand prize, we upped the amount to $2,500!
Tyler, who has worked for Ballad Health for about three months, said he downloaded Ballad Teams the day he received our first email announcing it. Asked how he planned to use his winnings, he said he would invest some of it, save some “and then spend some on an impulse buy!”

From the feedback we’ve received, team members really like the app. We encourage all team members to download it and put it to good use.

We also have concluded our Lucky Seven sweepstakes drawings. Team members who downloaded Ballad Teams, then gave us feedback and suggestions, were eligible to win Ballad Health-branded swag.
We drew seven names per day from those who entered, and we continue to deliver the prizes – like ballcaps, water bottles, notebooks, lunch boxes, umbrellas and casserole carriers. So be on the lookout; you could still be a winner by having Ballad Teams!
