As many team members and community healthcare workers are soon approaching the need to receive their second dose – 21 days after first dose for Pfizer, 28 days after first dose for Moderna – please remember, you must return to the same POD where you received your first dose. Second doses are shipping to Ballad Health based on the number of first doses administered per site.

For example, if you received your first dose at Johnson Memorial Hospital, you must return to Johnston Memorial for the second dose.

Per CDC guidelines, persons should not receive the second dose earlier than recommended, however second doses administered within a grace period of 4 days earlier than the recommended date for the second dose are still considered valid.

Please bring with you the CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card that was provided upon the first dose administration.

Those who arrive to a POD (points of dispensing) for a second dose at a location other than where their first dose was administered will be redirected to their proper POD.

If you or a team member has additional vaccine-related questions, please contact 423-302-6999 or BalladHealthCorporateEOC@balladhealth.org.

Thank you.
