Message from Debbie Dover: Important announcement about PTO cash-in

Because of the ongoing staffing requirements due to the pandemic and the upcoming PTO blackout period in October, we are going to allow a one-time PTO cash-in with the following details:

  • Up to 40 hours (must maintain at least 20 hours in your PTO bank)
  • The request form will be posted Aug. 30 and remain posted until Sept. 25 at 5 p.m. (no exceptions to this time frame).
  • The vesting requirement has been lifted, meaning anyone regardless of length of service can cash in.
  • Even if you have already cashed in earlier this year, you can still cash in during this designated time period.
  • Requests will be processed and paid out on the check dated Oct. 16.

 We are aware of the ongoing concerns regarding PTO balances, and after the Epic go live in October, we will reassess the plan for the January time frame and provide some additional information in November.
