Team Member Giving Campaign 2019: We made a difference together

A thank-you message from Ballad Health Foundation

That’s a wrap for the 2019 Team Member Giving Campaign. We had 3,335 team members across Ballad Health raise more than $976,000 for internal causes such as patient assistance, Niswonger Children’s Hospital and Team Member Emergency fund, as well as external causes through the United Way.

That’s a significant increase in donations from the 2018 campaign, when 2,876 team members raised $941,000. So this year we’re excited to celebrate not only the increase in donations, but also the increase in participation – of more team members choosing to support worthy causes that improve the quality of, and access to, care in our local communities.

“Seeing more than 3,300 Ballad Health team members come together to collectively raise nearly $1 million to support our communities is a humbling experience,” said Jack Simpson, president of Ballad Health Foundation. “I believe this year’s level of support sends a strong message about our collective commitment to create a healthier, more thriving, Appalachian Highlands region. I’m proud to be a small part of this phenomenal team!”

Thank you to all our team members who supported the campaign. We’re thrilled you came together and are giving back nearly $1 million to help patients, their families and children throughout the region.
