REMINDER: Annual team member performance appraisals due to be completed by Dec. 17

The performance appraisal period for Ballad Health is under way. Please make sure to have them completed by Dec. 17.

General information on the performance appraisal period:

  • Annual performance appraisals are to be completed between Oct. 25 and Dec. 17 for Ballad Health team members.
  • The 12-month period for which team members’ performance is being reviewed began Sept. 1, 2020, and ended Aug. 31, 2021.
  • Team members hired after July 31, 2021, will not be included in the appraisal process this year.
  • No peer rating or self-assessments will be required this year.
  • We’ve made some improvements to the appraisal document for this year, so it should be easier to use and take less time to complete. The biggest change will be streamlined assessment templates based on the Ballad Health values.
  • Reviews for the performance appraisals should take place in person when possible, but can be done remotely, as well, this year.
  • Once the evaluation cycle is closed on Dec. 17, appraisals will be processed for 2% increases in January 2022. All team members will receive an increase in January (if applicable) on the check of the first full pay period that month.
